“Access & Representation” Edition #5

“All of the visual art in this edition was created by ArtWorking artists as a vehicle of expression to convey the complex realities around access and representation in our society. The little book you now hold is meant to provide a unique perspective of living life with neurodivergence, developmental differences or an acquired disability. We hope to offer insight into the everyday experiences of people with disabilities that can be often overlooked, while also honoring the diversity and intersectionality present within these perspectives.”

Created in collaboration with Artworking, the fifth edition of The Little Book Project was released in March 2022. The theme was “Access & Representation,” and features work created by individuals that have access to mentorship and career development opportunities through the nonprofit. And each contributing artist received a gift card to one of six Wisconsin-based businesses as an honorarium.
